In this video we are going to create Animated Crack Kit Photo Crack Animation In Photoshop CS6. This is the most expensive and Trended photo effect.We will do some settings and styles to make our output image More stylish.we will use Actions for this.I hope you enjoy this Video.



The video will demonstrate how to use the action and how you can optimize the look
of your design after the action has finished. The video covers some important techniques
that you will want to use after the action has finished.


1. Inside Photoshop, go to the 'Window' menu and select 'Actions'. A window will now appear to the right hand side.

2. Inside the Actions window, click on the top right hand corner icon to reveal the drop down menu. From here select 'Load Actions...'. Select the action which came with the download.

3. The action will now appear in the actions panel.


1. Inside Photoshop, go to the 'Window' menu and select ‘Brush Presets'. A window will now appear to the right hand side.

2. Inside the Brush Presets window, click on the top right hand corner icon to reveal the drop down menu. From here select 'Load Brushes...'. Select the Brush which came with the download.

3. The Brush will now appear in the Brush panel.


1. Your photo is in RGB color mode

2. Your photo is in 8bit color mode

3. You are running the English version of Photoshop.

4. Image has resolution in range from 2000px to 4500 px.


1. Open your image

2. Create a new layer with name `mask` (without caps and commas)

3. Select a brush with opacity 100% and draw mask

4. Create a new layer with name `crack` (without caps and commas)

5. Select a brush with opacity 100% and draw mask where you want to place a crack

6. Select direction from Action panel

7. Press play the Action

8. See the video how to edit layers

9. Save the result as static or gif (For gif animation go to `File->Export->Save for web`. Select the gif format and set Looping option to Forever).


1. Preparing your photo document:

• Check the layer panel and make sure your photo has only a single background layer (see the picture below). To set your photo as a background:
 Go to menu bar, then select Layer > Flatten Image.
 The Background layer probably will have a different name if you use non-English Photoshop version - That’s fine, just keep it as it is.

 • Your photo must in RGB color mode.
To set the color mode: Go to menu bar, then select Image > Mode > RGB Color.
• Your photo must have 8 bits color.
To set the color bit: Go to menu bar, then select Image > Mode > 8 Bits/Channel.
• Make sure the photo resolution is 72 dpi or higher.

2. Prepare your Photoshop:
• Make sure the “Add ‘copy’...” option is selected. To do this:
 I. Go to layer panel and open the option menu (click the drop-down  icon on the top right corner of the Layer Panel).

 II. When the menu is already open, click on “Panel Option” to open the  Layers Panel Options.

III. Next, select (checked) the “Add ‘copy’ to Copied Layers and Groups”  (see the picture below).


If you are experiencing errors, try to do these following steps:
1. Please make sure:
• You use high resolution photo to work with. For the best result, it is recommended to use photo between 1500px - 3000px high/wide (72dpi or higher).

• Your photo has a well-balanced contrast (not too dark or too bright).

• The “Focus/Selected Area” you brushed is not too small. Please take a look the preview images for reference.

• You have already set your photo and Photoshop as described in basic instruction (Before Your Run The Action).

2. Reinstall the action and Resetting your Photoshop preferences.

• Remove the action from the action panel.

• Re-download the action from your download page.

• Reset your Photoshop Preferences. To do this, please restart your Photoshop. And then, hold down Alt + Ctrl + Shift (Windows) / Command + Option + Shift (Mac) while the Photoshop is starting up.

When a dialog box appear to asking if you wish to delete the preferences/settings file, please delete it.

• Reinstall the action you just downloaded

• Purging the history. To do this, go to the menu Edit > Purge > All.

• Try to run the action again.

3. If you are using a Non-English Photoshop and if you still having errors. Change your Photoshop language to English.


If you are experiencing errors, try resetting your Photoshop preferences. To do this,
hold down Alt, Ctrl, and Shift keys (Mac: Command, Option, Shift) while starting up Photoshop.
A dialog box will appear asking if you wish to delete the preferences/settings file.
