How to design poster in photoshop | One Shoot Production TV



Section 1: Creating background !
In this section let's create a background for our poster. Firs of all go to your resource files, which are in the description of this video. Then drag the background into the photoshop. Now make a copy of that background. And now select that background layer which is beneath the upper background. And transform that by pressing CTRL+T. Then adjust the width of the background according to the poster size. And now we want to match the upper and beneath background. So that they look like a single background. So to do that select the brush tool or press B from your keyboard. Then right click of your mouse and select the soft brush from brush picker. And adjust the size of the brush by using the "[ ]" these brackets. So when you adjusted the brush tool. Then make sure your foreground color should be black. And make a layer mask on the top layer. And then erase the unwanted area and try to match the sky with the layer which is beneath on that layer. 
Then use some color balances to adjust and math the color of the both these layers.

Section 2: Adding text to the background !
Now let's we add the text in the background. So go to your resource files and add the 3d text with background in our that poster layer. And the add the transparent text on that layer. Make sure your transparent text should be at the top of the text which has background. Then select the text tool or simply press T from your keyboard to select the text tool. And add the title of the poster at the top of the poster. Then select the move tool or simply press V from your keyboard to select the move tool. And adjust the title of the poster horizontal centered.

Section 3: Adding texture !
Now let's add the texture to our poster title. Go to the resource files and select the wall texture and drag that into the photoshop. Make sure that you should leave and drag on the right panel of your photoshop. Don;t leave your mouse on the poster layer. Because that texture will open into our main poster layer. When you dragged the layer into new window. Then go to edit and select Define Pattern form there. And now select the text and right click of your mouse and select the pattern overlay from that blending option. And then from the pattern picker select that pattern which you defined yourself. And then adjust the properties of that texture according to your need and then hit OK...!
Now select that text layer right click on the layer and then select the convert to smart object from there. Your layer style will be restorised and layer will be converted to smart object. And then try to adjust the color of the text using the adjustments and clipping masks. Until your text matched with the background.

Section 4: Finishing The Poster !
Now lets finish our poster. Now add some gradient at the top of all layers and adjust the color of overall image. And the press CTRL+SHIF+ALT+E from your keyboard to snap all images into one single layer. Then convert that image into smart object. Then go to filter>>noise>>add noise.
And use the noise 10% and that all....!
